She has taught at the University of British Columbia and other post-secondary institutions, supporting students from diverse cultural, linguistic, and educational backgrounds. Her work focuses on student success, responsible uses of artificial intelligence, sustainability, and preparing learners for a rapidly changing world.

She is running for Vancouver School Board Trustee to bring an educator’s voice, evidence-informed decision-making, and collaborative leadership to the Board and to help ensure Vancouver’s schools are safe, inclusive, and well-resourced places where educators are supported, families are meaningfully engaged, and every child is prepared not only for the world of today, but for the world they will enter after graduation.

Noosha has served in senior academic leadership and governance roles, including as a faculty senator and committee chair. In these roles, she has led curriculum improvements, strengthened academic standards, supported educators, and helped develop practical policies that balance innovation with accountability.

Like many parents, Noosha shares the concern that today’s children may not be adequately prepared for an uncertain future shaped by artificial intelligence, rapidly changing technologies, and an increasingly complex information environment. She believes students must graduate with strong foundational knowledge and durable skills that will remain relevant, including critical thinking, media literacy, digital citizenship, creativity, sound judgment, and the ability to use AI responsibly rather than depend on it.
