Having lived in Mount Scio for over a decade, Darrell Hynes is deeply invested in the community. As a husband and father of two daughters, he understands the challenges families face, from the rising cost of living and concerns about crime, to long waits for health care and overcrowded, under-resourced schools. He has chaired local school councils, volunteered extensively in the community with local service and sports organizations. Darrell is ready to be a strong, effective voice for Mount Scio: someone who listens, takes action, and delivers real results. He has dedicated his career to public service, working across provincial and federal governments, including senior roles in Health, Finance and Education.
