Dion Hynes is a proud son of Clarke’s Beach, raised in a working-class family that taught him the value of hard work and lending a hand to your neighbour. Those lessons guided him through years as a rotational worker, where he saw first-hand the sacrifices families make just to get by.

Today, Dion works as a Life Insurance Advisor with Globe Life and serves his community as a volunteer firefighter with the Bay de Grave Fire Department. Whether it’s protecting families on the job or responding to emergencies, Dion believes in showing up when people need support the most.

Above all, Dion is a father of two, fighting for a better future here at home. He knows the struggles facing families across Harbour Main — the rising cost of living, the need for good jobs that keep workers close to home, and the importance of strong public healthcare and services.

That’s why Dion is running with the NL NDP: to stand up for everyday people, for fair pay, and for a voice in the House of Assembly that won’t back down.
