Nanaimo parent and Regional Manager in social services with experience leading complex programs, working alongside educators and school teams, supporting families and staff, and bringing practical, collaborative problem-solving to challenging situations.
I’ve called Nanaimo home for over 20 years. It’s where I’ve raised my family, built my career, and become deeply connected to the community.
Professionally, I’m a Regional Manager in social services, where I lead complex programs, support staff and families, and have worked alongside educators and school administrators to navigate challenging situations and find practical, safe solutions.
Those experiences have shaped how I lead: listen carefully, communicate clearly, bring people together, and address problems early before they become crises.
I’m passionate about student success, supporting the people who care for our kids every day, strengthening transparency and accountability, and making sure families feel informed, heard, and included.
For me, this campaign is about giving back to the community that has been home to my family for over 20 years and helping make thoughtful decisions for your kids and mine.

I’m running because I believe I can help ensure the voices of families, staff, and students are genuinely heard and respected. My priorities are shaped by real community conversations and my own experiences navigating our school system.
My reasons for running, and the priorities I’ve chosen to focus on, have been shaped by both my own experiences and meaningful conversations with people across our community.
I’ve listened to parents, staff, families, and community members share what is working, where they are struggling, and what they hope to see improve. Many of those conversations have reflected challenges I’ve experienced myself, especially around communication, transparency, support, and the importance of addressing concerns early.
I’m running because I believe I can help ensure the voices of families, staff, and students are genuinely heard and respected within our school system. I believe good decisions start with listening, thoughtful questions, and bringing different perspectives to the table.
If elected, I want to help make practical, informed decisions that support students, staff, and families, for your kids and mine.
