Francis Lavoie was born and raised in Deux Montagnes in the North Shore of Montreal. He grew up with humble beginnings with a passion for hockey. He attended the Hoosac School in upstate New York with a full scholarship playing hockey.

After graduating, he moved to Toronto and began his career in sales, working for Fulcrum Media. At the same time, he was the women’s hockey coach at the Toronto Metropolitan University for three years. Afterwards, he worked as a sales manager for a Canadian hardwood flooring manufacturer and brought in millions of dollars in new business for the company over seven years. 

Francis loves hockey, has fifteen years of sales experience, has bilingual knowledge of French and English, and is a proud Canadian. Francis has lived in the riding of Davenport since 2013 with his husband and knows the Davenport area like the back of his hand. Francis is looking forward to having Davenport and Toronto thrive to its fullest potential. Francis is a motivated common sense Conservative aiming to make Canada a safer, wealthier, and more prosperous country.
