Alxys Chamberlain was born in West Nova and is proud to be from Kingston, in the Annapolis Valley. Her youth in Kingston was deeply connected to the community; she grew up playing in local sports, developed a love of music and spent her free hours volunteering. This built a lifelong passion for volunteerism, which extends to organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters, Kingston/Greenwood Soccer Club and a tenure as President of the Annapolis Valley Apple Blossom Festival.
