Biography
I am a dad of 4 living here in beautiful Prince George on the unceded ancestral lands of the Lheidli T'enneh.
Here is a bit of the road map of my career.
- 2025 – Completed role with Integris Credit Union as a Board Member and Corporate Secretary after successful merger
- 2023 – Graduated with a Master of Business Administration Degree from University of Fredericton
- 2022 – Joined Executive Leadership Team at Scouts Canada as the Chief Revenue Officer (former title was Executive Director, Commercial Ventures) (currently serving)
- 2022 – Elected to the Board of Directors for Integris Credit Union (3.5 years)
- 2022 – Elected as City Councillor for City of Prince George (currently serving)
- 2021 – Named Public Relations Chair for 2022 BC Summer Games (2 years)
- 2021 – Elected as Vice President, BC School Trustee Association (1 year)
- 2017 – Elected as Director, BC School Trustee Association (served 5 years)
- 2016 – Elected as Board Chair, School District 57 (served 4 years)
- 2011 – Elected as School District 57 Trustee (served 12 years)
- 2011 – Appointed as Executive Director, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Prince George (served 11 years)
- 2006 – Joined Big Brothers Big Sisters of Prince George to lead Fundraising and Marketing (in this role for 5 years)
- 2000 – Organized HEARTS Seniors Christmas Dinner (10 years)
Reason for running
I was having coffee with a friend over the summer and I let them know I was thinking of rerunning and his response was "why?". I immediately wanted to say because there was still work to do. However, I didn’t say that because it is the most political cliche answer. So instead in typical Tim fashion I gave him three answers

I believe in Prince George and its potential. Prince George is home, I grew up here, I am raising my family here. I believe the best of Prince George is yet to come, but due to decisions of previous councils we are spending so much time being reactive. We need to find that balance of addressing the urgent matters banging down our door but also sustainability investing in our future to ensure future councils are trying to deal with the fall out of our decisions.

I represent a part of our community whose perspective isn’t always represented at the table. Yes, I am registered member of the Tsqescen First Nation and have had the rare privilege of serving in chambers as an Indigenous person but, just as importantly, as a parent raising a young, growing family, I understand the everyday challenges families face in 2026. I understand what it means to balance the rising cost of living and affordability with the realities of raising a family in our community. The importance of having accessible public washrooms when your child urgently needs one, the urgency of ensuring your children are cared for before and after school, trying to support aging parents, the heat of the duchess park slide on a hot summer day, and the frustration families feel when trying to register for activities the moment they open to the public. These may seem like small things, but they are the everyday experiences that shape whether a community works for families. I believe those perspectives matter when we make decisions about the future of Prince George.

These next four years are going to be difficult - there is no sugar coating it. We are facing numerous crises including affordability, economic, housing, toxic drug, and political. I know that I have the experience, education, passion and skillset to provide strong governance, leadership and advocacy experience to lead our community through the upcoming challenges while seizing the opportunities in front of us.
