Wasai Rahimi is a dedicated community leader in Kitchener, Ontario, deeply engaged in advocacy, inclusion, and civic service. He serves as President of the Afghan Association of Waterloo Region and Executive Director of iHelp International, a nonprofit organization committed to addressing community needs. Additionally, he is a board member of the Panjshir Association of Canada and an active participant in Campas Kitchener.

For eight years, Wasai contributed to Bridges to Belonging, supporting inclusion efforts for individuals affected by autism. He also dedicated a decade to the Safe and Healthy Advisory Committee of the City of Kitchener, working to promote well-being and safety for local residents.

Motivated by his passion for civic engagement, Wasai has pursued political roles to bring meaningful change to his community. He ran for Kitchener City Council (Ward 2) in 2014 and later as a parliamentary candidate in 2019.

With a steadfast commitment to public service, Wasai Rahimi continues to advocate for stronger, more inclusive communities.
