Anna Boltenko is a North Vancouver community leader, educator, leadership coach, and long-time civic volunteer. North Vancouver has been her home for more than 13 years.
She holds a Master’s degree in Government and Municipal Management and completed doctoral studies in Strategic Management. For eight years, Anna has served on City advisory bodies, including six years as Chair of the Social Planning Advisory Committee. She currently serves on the Advisory Planning Commission.
Anna is the co-founder of the Wonder Wonders Foundation and the North Shore Kids Festival, bringing together thousands of children, families, volunteers, schools, non-profit organizations, and local businesses. She also serves on the Board of Directors of ICF British Columbia and works internationally with leaders and organizations navigating change, strengthening decision-making, and building resilient teams.
Across her civic, professional, and non-profit work, Anna has brought together government, businesses, schools, community organizations, volunteers, and residents to turn ideas into practical results. Her leadership approach is simple: listen first, build partnerships, plan responsibly, and keep people at the centre of every decision.

I believe North Vancouver can grow without losing its heart. My commitment is simple: smart growth, strong communities, and people first.
North Vancouver has been my home for more than 13 years. It is where I rebuilt my life, found community, and learned that local government is not abstract. Its decisions shape how safely we cross the street, how long we sit in traffic, whether families can find childcare and recreation, whether local businesses can thrive, and whether residents trust City Hall.
I am running because North Vancouver is growing quickly, but growth must work in daily life. New housing must be planned together with roads, transit, utilities, parks, childcare, recreation, and community services—not years after residents begin feeling the pressure. We need attainable homes for workers, families, seniors, and newcomers, with thoughtful density in appropriate locations and stronger protection for livability, green space, and neighbourhood character.
Residents also deserve meaningful engagement before major decisions are effectively settled, clear explanations of costs and trade-offs, and responsible use of every tax dollar.
For eight years, I have served on City advisory bodies and continued building community between elections. Public service is not seasonal. I am running to do the work: listen carefully, ask difficult questions, bring people together, and plan beyond the next development or election cycle.
