Artificial Intelligence in Schools
A.I. has it's place but recent studies show we should have a harder look when it comes to promoting this to children. I will definitely engage parents and staff on the effects AI has on our kids.
Bullying & Bigotry
Bullying and Bigotry are not the same thing. But neither of them belong in our school system. I have worked on this front for years as a DPAC rep and foster parent. I will shine a spotlight on this issue.
Indigenous Schooling
As a Metis father of 6, this is a personal passion of mine. I will dive deeper into this complex issue to make sure my community gets the support it deserves.
Neurodivergent Students & Support
As two of my Indigenous children are on the spectrum, this is another passion project for me. I will be working with other stakeholders in this field to make sure none of these vulnerable kids slips through.
Police in Schools
I am not opposed to having Police in schools doing check-ins and info sessions. I will look into seeing if this is important to parents, students and teachers.
Student Involvement & Engagement
You cannot force kids to be involved and as a trustee, I cannot change the curriculum but I will encourage more student engagement with presentations and open communication with the student body.

As a Métis husband, father, business owner I bring lifelong experience and advocacy as a foster parent for children and families with diverse needs. I believe every child deserves strong academics, parental involvement, practical support, and the opportunity to succeed.
