Biography
Chi knows what it means to struggle, and knows what it means to be lifted up.
Chi’s parents came to Canada to build a better life. When her father passed away, their family could have fallen through the cracks.
But they didn’t—because the community showed up. This community—the very one you live in. And so did the government— Liberal governments that believed in investing in people —that gave Chi’s family stability, support, and a future.
That’s why Chi is running. Because she knows firsthand what happens when we have a government that lifts people up—and what happens when we have one that divides us apart.
For over twenty years, Chi has fought for a better, fairer world. Whether leading Equal Voice to get more women elected, working with United Way to tackle affordability, or partnering with White Ribbon Canada to make our country safer, she has always fought for a Canada that works for everyone. And she’s stood up for the rights of women, workers, and the most vulnerable—earning recognitions such as the Governor General’s Award, the King’s Coronation Medal, and the YWCA Women of Distinction Award.
But Chi’s most important job is being a mom to Sam and Ellis. Like every parent, she wants to leave her children a better world—one where housing is affordable, healthcare is universal, workers have protections, and every person is treated with dignity. That starts with bold, progressive leadership here and in Ottawa.
This election, Canada’s future and our values are on the line. We need strong public services, climate action, and a government that works for the people—not the powerful.
Vote Liberal. Because when we fight for our values, we all win.
In the meantime, you can learn more about them on their website.
