Marc-André Michaud, P.Eng. is an accomplished engineer and seasoned leader with extensive experience in infrastructure projects, facilities management, and strategic planning. He currently serves as the lead engineer for the Department of National Defence in New Brunswick, managing complex construction and maintenance projects across both New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. A veteran of the Royal Canadian Air Force, Marc previously held leadership roles in the military, including as a Construction Engineering Major, where he managed large-scale infrastructure programs and supported multiple operations abroad.
Born in Quebec and raised across multiple Canadian provinces, Marc earned a Master’s of Applied Science in Biological Engineering from Dalhousie University in 2006. He is a staunch advocate of federalism, supporting a balanced distribution of power between national and regional governments. Passionate about leadership and problem-solving, Marc applies a practical, results-driven approach to his work.
Beyond his professional life, Marc is a dedicated father and enjoys working towards a self-sufficient lifestyle on his small homestead in New Brunswick.
