Hailey Ford is an Oakville resident from birth with a strong attachment to the community and a dedication to bettering the world. She has an instinct for politics and activism, with a particular interest in electoral reform, public transit, and for providing reliable, accurate, and accessible information to Canadians. She's eager to help promote young voices in politics and government and better utilize the often-neglected youth vote.

She graduated from Post’s Corners Public School and White Oaks Secondary School. Currently, she attends Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly known as Ryerson University) as a third-year Journalism student and is Co-President of the Course Union for her program. She is a founding member of the Toronto Metropolitan University New Democrats, and is heavily involved with the youth branch of the Ontario NDP (ONDY).

Hailey is the youth representative for the Oakville North-Burlington NDP Provincial Riding Association and the Oakville East NDP Federal Riding Association. Hailey strongly believes that everyone should have the opportunity to vote for someone they believe will truly represent their needs, and have that recognized and addressed by their government. She is eager to take the next step towards being that stronger voice and advocate that her community needs.
