Kelsey Pringle is the Conservative Party of BC candidate for Nanaimo-Lantzville.

A Vancouver Island entrepreneur, business owner and community leader, Kelsey is a wife and mother of two who spent 12 years living in the Nanaimo-Lantzville area. At 36, she knows the pressures working families face because she lives them.

In the summer of 2026, Kelsey’s husband suffered a heart attack. Her family suddenly experienced the healthcare system not as a policy debate, but as patients waiting for urgent answers. Although Nanaimo Regional General Hospital serves Central and North Vancouver Island, Nanaimo patients needing cardiac catheterization must be transferred to Victoria, and Island Health’s own review has flagged the delays that creates.

That experience made healthcare a defining issue for Kelsey. She believes a growing region of hundreds of thousands deserves advanced care, including cardiac care, closer to home, and that no family should face delays in an emergency because of where they live.

Kelsey is the co-founder and owner of Motivation Monday Marketing, a digital marketing agency serving businesses across British Columbia. As an employer, she knows what it takes to meet payroll and create jobs. She sits on the Board of the Vancouver Island Economic Alliance, where she has seen that healthcare infrastructure is also economic infrastructure: communities need reliable services to attract families, workers and investment. She also co-founded Empower Women Canada, supporting women in business.
