For over 15 years, I have been a parent voice in public education, not from the sidelines, but in the room where decisions are being made.

I served as Chair for the Parent Advisory Council for the different schools my children were enrolled in, then as Chair for the District Parent Advisory Council for most of the 10+ years that I have been involved. I also served a 2 year term as a Director with the BC Confederation of Parent Advisory Councils, and sat on many district and provincial committees along the way.

Through all of that, one thing has never changed: I show up for students first. That means listening to families, asking hard questions, and making sure decisions have students' well-being and learning at the centre.

I am running for School Board Trustee because I believe my voice, grounded in years of listening to students, families, teachers, and our community, belongs at the board table. I want to keep advocating for things that matter most: supporting students, nurturing our relationships with our Nations, and ensuring a public education system that families can trust.
